Richard Tyler Blevins was born in Taylor, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, and is of Welsh descent. He has two older brothers, Jonathan and Chris. His family moved to the Chicago suburbs when he was an infant, and he attended Grayslake Central High School. After graduation, he pursued professional gaming, entering tournaments and joining organizations.
